LONDON, ENGLAND–(Marketwired – Jan. 19, 2018) – India has announced a new initiative to teach Hindi in schools in India by 2020.
The initiative, launched by the Government of India, aims to provide a platform to educate children in the region about Hindi language and culture.
The program will provide students with an introduction to Hindi, including the basic vocabulary and pronunciation, as well as the basic grammar, spelling, grammar rules and usage of the Hindi language.
Teacher-led sessions will be conducted by an expert panel.
In the meantime, the Government has set up a programme for teachers to create online videos, audio and visual content that will be available to the students to practice and practice on their own.
In addition, the project has also been launched to provide an opportunity to the Indian diaspora to learn about India’s history, culture and language through interactive projects.
Hindi is the second most spoken language in India after English.
The Government is also trying to promote Hindi language as a regional language.
It has also initiated an initiative to create an Indian Language Portal in India that would provide a portal to learn and practice the Hindi culture and history through interactive learning activities.
