Next up: The last night of the Dubai International Film Festival!
Dubai’s international film festival has announced it will be running its last night on the festival circuit with the final screening of The Tale of the Princess Kaguya.
The film, a collaboration between Warner Bros. and Fox, follows the exploits of the titular princess from Japan and her crew on their voyage to the African country of the fictional African princess.
The plot of the film was first unveiled last week when the film’s writer, David O’Connor, tweeted about its final screening in the capital.
A screenwriter and producer on the film, O’Conner has been the subject of some criticism from some critics for his choices of plot elements and cast choices.
The Tale of The Princess Kako will be screened for a limited time on Sunday night and on the same day on all the other screens around the world.
The screenings will run from 9:30pm to 11:30am local time.
